"Liberalism, Conservatism, and Socialism: A Comparative Analysis of Ideologies in Modern Politics"
Abulkhaiyr Zhumanov
This essay examines the core principles of liberalism, conservatism, and socialism through contemporary case studies—from U.S. free-market policies to Hungary’s traditionalist reforms and Scandinavia’s welfare states. It highlights the trade-offs inherent in each ideology, such as liberalism’s inequality challenges or conservatism’s tension with social progress. Ultimately, the analysis suggests that hybrid models, like Germany’s social market economy, may offer a pragmatic middle ground for addressing modern political dilemmas.
